Authorities have opened a murder investigation after discovering a 12-year-old girl’s body inside a suitcase with wounds across her throat and unidentified numbers written on her.
The young child, known only as Lola, was found inside the plastic bag next to her building, and Paris police described the horrifying wounds she had sustained. At 3:20 pm on Friday, October 14, according to CCTV evidence, the young girl was seen strolling behind a female suspect wearing a green hooded top and light pants while carrying her school backpack.
Later, the suspect, who is accused of concealing the body in a suitcase, was observed purchasing a croissant and going about her day.

A local witness told BFMTV that he had seen the female suspect, who is already in arrest, two hours after surveillance footage showed her and Lola entering the property. The witness claimed that she was roaming around with large luggage at the time.
A witness said: “We saw her entering in the building she [the suspect] was alone, and she came out a little later. We saw her half-an-hour later with the suitcase, she was speaking to everyone, she looked a little crazy,”
The witness added: “She was struggling to carry the suitcase, we thought it was because it was heavy items and she was quite slim – we never thought it was a body.”
“It was 5pm and she was walking around with that suitcase, she even left it outside a café and went to the bakery opposite to buy a croissant as it nothing had happened.”
After Lola failed to arrive home from her Parisian school, College George-Brassens, on Friday afternoon, her parents filed a missing person report. Later, at 11 p.m. that day, she was discovered hog-tied, with her neck slit, and crammed inside the plastic suitcase at the base of a building.
The following day, authorities discovered that a mysterious “device” had written the numerals “1” and “0” on her torso. According to BFMTV, the numerals were “put” on her body rather than being drawn or scratched onto it.
According to the report, Lola died from asphyxiation following a post-mortem performed on Saturday, October 15. She was discovered with sellotape covering her face and a deadly throat wound.
Police described how Lola’s father, who was the building’s caretaker, grew worried when the young child failed to return home after school on Friday at 3 o’clock.
At 5:00 p.m., her frightened mother Delphine Daviet went to the police station to file a missing person complaint. After viewing the building’s CCTV footage, the building’s caretaker reported to police that he had seen his daughter walking in with an unidentified woman in her twenties at 3:20 p.m.
Tragically, the young girl never arrived at her house. As a result, her family launched a public appeal on Facebook for aid in locating their daughter, whom they described as a happy blonde girl with shoulder-length hair.
They said that at the time of her disappearance, Lola was carrying a grey bag and wearing white pants and a white hooded sweater.
