Official Press Release

Toronto, 2008: Nicola Defina, President, of Septagon Studios, Inc. is pleased to announce that Amazon and Target.com have each agreed to carry Setpagon’s comic book SCORN, to be sold on their respective websites.

“We are honored that Target has recognized our comic book company and is prepared to join with us in this tremendous opportunity. We look forward to a lengthy relationship with both companies.”

Scorn is a full-color, bi-monthly comic book miniseries, a dark tale of revenge that uses actual Chicago locations as its backdrop. Kevin Moyers also uses actual events to set the story in motion. The gritty and unique artwork of Philipp Neundorf brings this emotional tale to life. The book revolves around 19-year-old Michael Riggs, who witnesses the murder of his best friend at the hand of notorious gang leader Robert Torres. Michael becomes obsessed, and nothing can stop him on his vicious and bloody rampage of vigilante justice.

Target and Amazon will begin taking orders of Septagon Studios’ title Scorn #1 and Scorn #2 on their websites, enabling those customers who prefer to deal directly with Amazon or Target the opportunity to purchase the series from the beginning. Amazon is also pleased to announce special offers and product promotions while ordering Scorn #1 and #2. Scorn is a part of Amazon’s 4-for-3 promotion, where one may buy any 4 eligible items and get the lowest-priced item free. Other eligible products include select Books, DVDs, Single Copy Magazines, and Home & Garden items.
