After a little over a year of working on this graphic novel, Jaime “Jimmy” Portillo has finally released his vampire horror story, GABRIEL. Based on actual events, this story takes place in both El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. GABRIEL was honored with a grant from the Xeric Foundation (Fall 2007) , founded by Peter A.
