HeroesCon Indie Island

One of the country’s top conventions is set to begin this weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. HeroesCon (put on by the excellent comic shop, Heroes Aren’t Hard To Find) is set to open up to the general public beginning Friday, June 20th till Sunday, June 22nd.

What sets HeroeCon apart from the other major comic conventions is their focus on independently-produced comics and graphic novels by giving them their own established 10,000+ square foot section in the middle of the con called Indie Island.

Guests at this year’s Indie Island include:
Adhouse Books
Bodega Distribution
Jeffrey Brown
Scott Campbell
Josh Cotter
Matt Kindt
Scott Kurtz

and many, many more which you can find here.

HeroesCon runs from Friday, June 20th till the 22nd at the Charlotte Convention Center. You can check the official HeroesCon web site for admission and times.
